Is Black Cohosh Safe?

Hello Herb Lovers,
Black Cohosh has been used for centuries to reduce menopausal symptoms and to bring on a slow labour in the late stages of pregnancy. Preparations of this herb are commonly sold in European pharmacies to relieve hot flashes.

Holly decks the halls….

This popular Christmas decoration originated in Rome, where it was customary to send holly to friends during the festival of Saturnalia. Early Christians liked the custom so they kept it going. There is also some evidence that Druids used holly as a winter decoration.
