First and foremost I would like to THANK YOU, for your interest, your loyalty, your contributions and your continued friendship. May 2011 bring you everything that’s good and shiny, may your hearts be filled with sunshine & laughter.
2010 draws to a close and looking back it was quite an eventful year for Herbology. With the publication of my first book in the Herbology at Home Series – Making Herbal Remedies, quickly followed by the publication of two ebooks and then also the Herbology iPhone application. The reception of all of these has been amazing. Over 3000 iPhone applications have been downloaded in less than 6 months. The Kindle version of Making Herbal Remedies is #4 out of all the herbal remedies books Amazon has available, even surpassing some of the really well known names in the herb world.
Herb-BLOG-ogy has attracted an increasing number of readers with 40,000 unique visitors having read my posts in 2010. The Facebook page has become the place to be if you want to ask questions, comment on blog posts or just meet other like minded people who love all things herbs. On the main website itself there were quite a few changes to and I also added a shopping platform. However, the overall look isnt quite what I envisioned so there is a pretty good chance that everything will get another overhaul early in 2011.
What else is planned for 2011? The iPad version of Making Herbal Remedies will finally be released on Apple and the second book in the Herbology at Home Series – Homemade Health is due to be released in the first quarter of the new year, I will let you know more about in January. Most importantly, 2011 will be the year to spread the herbal word even further than we already have. There are so many people who are interested in a more natural lifestyle and what better way to achieve that than to include herbs in your everyday life??
Yule Tidings, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Season’s Greetings to one and all
